In November 2025, ArtWorks for Cancer installed 50 additional artworks in two locations at University Health Network (@UHNToronto)'s @TorontoGeneralHospital (TGH): Unit 6PMB (Thoracic Surgery and Respirology Unit) and Unit 9ES (General Surgery and Acute Care Inpatient Unit). 44 of the images were by Canadian photographer @shermanhines and 6 were donated by staff from TGH, all specially mounted by @PosterJack. We are pleased once again to see the ArtWorks for Cancer logo on the boards at the @CAACentre during a recent Brampton Steelheads (@OHLSteelheads) game. The disease has touched the lives of the team owners. They felt it was important to show their support for organizations like ours, bringing comfort to patients, families, medical practitioners and care settings. As always, we truly appreciate their generosity and vision.

An important step in the process when ArtWorks for Cancer installs artworks in a hospital or clinic setting is to survey the setting beforehand. We walk the hallways, look into the rooms, treatment suites, waiting and visiting areas, lobbies and reception areas to determine which works will be suitable where. We take careful measurements, look at natural and artificial lighting, understand furniture arrangements and more to ensure artworks will complement their surroundings and will bring comfort and delight to all who pass through them. We recently visited Orillia @SoldiersMemorialHospital (OSMH) to plan our upcoming installation in early October. Stay tuned for the updates that will show how these areas are transformed!

We accept sculpture, photographs and works on canvas, paper or board, including all mediums; pastel, oil and acrylic, and all sizes.
